Mine and Rianne's closeup...we didnt have enough straws to join in, or you know I would have!

Kayla and Sydney...silly girls!
The whole day was so much fun and such a neat experience. I am so grateful to have these great people now a part of my life. It is crazy to go from having 1 brother to now having 10 more half siblings....but its so fun! I always wished I had younger siblings.....be careful what you wish for! ;) Sharlene has since told me that the kids just keep asking when they get to see me again. It just melts my heart the way they are with me. I love my own family and am also so grateful to them for how well they have taken all this too. They have been nothing but supportive and for that I thank them. It has been such a better experience knowing that they aren't hurt by it.....they should know they are and always will be my family....the people that raised me and grew up with me! Its just neat to be able to add this other chapter in my life. So thanks mom, dad and Kirk! Love you guys!

During the rest of my weekend I also went to go see the Body Worlds exhibit....which is just about the whole human anatomy. Oh my gosh....it is so freakin awesome! Its amazing! They use a process called plastination which allows them to preserve different parts and whole systems of the body so you can see it all in tact. Its incredible! Since I have a new found facsination w the body and anatomy...I can tell I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend going. This exhibit travels around and is the 3rd of I think 4 different exhibits.

This is a picture of the entire vascular system of the body. You are looking at every single blood vessel (artery, vein, capillary) in the whole body! Pic doesnt even do it justice! Makes you realize how important our blood is...it supplies everything!

This one is the same of just the head.....also the brain!

I was also able to visit a few other friends. I got to spend time with my friend Dan, who is also adopted. He was super close and there for me while I was going through finding and meeting Sharlene. I so wish I could help him find his mom. Hopefully someday! Always good to see him and spend time with him. Then I was able to make it to see my darling Dana! Oh how I miss her! She is one of my many girls who I dont see enough these days! I am so glad I got to see her cause it was the last time before she and her hubby move to NYC! I am so excited for them....but will be sad to have her that much farther away! But.....since I have 3 girls back east now....I will be going out there to see you all! Hopefully this spring!
Dana and me....I love ya girl!

All in all it was a great weekend. I am super tired cause I was seriously all over the place, but totally worth it! Thanks to everyone who put me up for the night and played with me! It was a great way to spend Thanksgiving! I have SO much to be thankful for in my life and especially in the past year!
Happy Late Thanksgiving Everyone!
