Pictures

Well last Friday we had another breakfast with the girls. I hadn't been able to go since we started again, so I was glad to be there. Especially since I hadn't seen Dana much lately and haven't seen Heidi forever! We were sad Emily couldn't make it. I thought some of you would like to see some of the little ones I get to play with. Heidi has another one on the way and so does Emily! It's amazing how big they are getting! Seriously I'm gonna have to have twins to catch up by the time I get started! Take a look at these cuties...

Later that night I went out with some of the guys I sold with in Cleveland. I hadnt seen then for awhile. It was so fun. I seriously love being around these guys cuz they just make me laugh constantly! Oh good times! Here are the pics I took that night too! I've been in picture mode lately if you cant tell! ;)

Sundance

Its been awhile since I blogged...I've had quite a bit going on. I started back into school after my nice long 3 week break. This quarter we have gotten into some classes that I am excited about. Some of them are more in the realm of what I want to do. I am now in Cranial Sacral Therapy, Sports Massage, Structural I, Hydrotherapy, Shiatsu and then of course Anatomy and our business class. Anatomy has gotten more intense as we are learning all the muscles of the body. We have to know the action and all attachment points for each one. So its a lot of info, but still way interesting. We have another cadaver lab next week, which I'm excited about! What I really love is that Im finally learning the techniques that can be used to help with injuries and relieving structural problems in the body. It intrigues me to try and figure out how to help heal someones injury or pain. It will be great when I can actually really get into it.

So this last weekend was lots of fun because I got to spend time with some of my girls....especially Kate! She was in town because her husband Jed submitted a short film into Sundance and it got accepted. So they were here for the Sundance film festival. All of us girls got together and had dinner at Macaroni Grill on Thursday. Its been too long since we were all together...well we were still missing a few. I must say that Kate looks like quite the metropolitan girl now! Then on Saturday night I went Dana and Marlon to Park City. We met up with Kate, Jed and her family to see the big screening of his film. It was so fun! There was 6 short films shown, including Jed's. Although there were a few things that could have been left out of the films, they were mostly very entertaining and well made. I must say though it was great to see Jed up against all the others because he ranked right with them but did it with much less. Dana and I made sure to get pictures and autographs from him for when he makes it big! I must say I am impressed with our little Jed! Way to go! Below are some pics from the night.

Steel Thunder

This last weekend was quite the experience. I got invited by some new friends to go the The Monster Trucks Steel Thunder show. It was at the E Center here in Salt Lake. We even got pit passes where we got to go early and see the trucks up close, they also included a hotdog and a drink...pretty sweet huh?! It was actually a way fun night! I love going to stuff like that! It was a bit of a small show, but still worth it! There was some good revving of engines and near crashes and they even had some motor cross dudes doing some tricks. Gotta love the crowd shows like that attract..saw some sweet mullets!

2007 In Review

This past year was a bit rough for me...it was pretty up and down...but really one I'm ready to move on from. Not too many monumental things happened, but here is a list of 10 big things that come to mind...

1) Started a new job, in a new direction. I became a registrar, in the ER at Dixie Regional Medical center. It was with this job that I realized how interested in the medical field I am. I learned so much and saw some pretty crazy things!

2) In an emotional attempt to get a cheaper car payment, I traded in the beloved Jetta for my Dodge Neon. She then became The Blue Moon. All I have to say is don't go car shopping with the intent of purchasing when you are emotional!

3) I officially became a menace to society and turned the ripe age of 25! I wasn't too happy about this one...started me on the downhill slide to the big 30! But hey life keeps going....

4) Had a couple firsts...shot my first handgun and went fishing for the first time. Caught a 5lb 22" rainbow trout!

5) Flew to LA to be a bridesmaid in Dana's wedding! Marc came w me and we went to a Dodgers game! Great trip!

6) Spent the summer months living at the pool swimming and the lake boating. Finally learned how to wakeboard...thanks to Marc! Need to get at it again this summer...oh can't wait!

7) Moved from St George to Salt Lake City....from the oh so missed heat to the bitter cold! Managed to only make one big move all year...amazing!

8) Started Massage Therapy School, which has been one of the best decisions I've made in a long time! Who knew it was such a perfect fit for me! Someone could have told me this a long time ago! ;)

9) Made it through my first term of schoool and Aced my finals!

10) Finally made it home to visit home sweet home in Redmond WA! I hadnt been there since 06....way too long!

As you can see...not a whole lot happened this last year. SO here is to a brand NEW Year with a lot of great monumental happenings coming my way!
