Weekend fun in the sun!

It has been so nice to finally have the weather be consistently nice! Its been perfect for me....in the 90's! I have been going stir crazy cuz if you can believe it, its already been a month since I graduated! I have waaay too much time on my hands now. It seriously makes me wonder what in the world I did w myself before I started school and was super busy! Anyways, I'm just in limbo waiting to be able to take my national certification test and wow...they are taking their sweet time in processing my application. Hopefully I should hear back by the end of next week. But I am going nuts just waiting cuz I just want to get it over w so I can get a job and actually not be broke anymore!
So this last weekend was a lot of fun....I spent it all out in the sun and loved it! I really do LOVE summer! There is just so much more you can do outside and you dont have to be miserably cold to do it! I spent most of the weekend w my friend Haley. We went swimming a bunch last week and then friday night we went to the Pleasant Grove Rodeo. It was a lot of fun...gotta love the rodeos! They also had some motocross there....which I love to watch! It was fun!

So then saturday we got up and I went golfing with Haley, her boyfriend and some of their friends. I of course didnt actually play....since I am not much of a skilled golfer! But I am always up for riding along and of course driving the golf cart around! ;) It was lots of fun but after about 9 holes Haley and I were over it and so we went back to my house to cool off and eat! It was a lot of fun!

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

I realize I am a bit late in posting this, but I just got home last night from being out of town! But I feel the need to write a tribute to my dad because he is one of the most amazing men I have ever known! My dad is the most selfless, hardworking, patient man! Some days I really don't know how he does it but he does, he just keeps puttin along w no complaints! Dad I love you so much and I can't even begin to express what you mean to me! You have been the best dad and I'm so grateful we have been so close! Thank you for the man you are and for everything you have done for me! Happy Fathers Day! Sorry you had to spend it traveling all day! I only wish that I could have you around more!

Hair Crisis!

Okay so I know this picture makes it look fine, but I really have had a hair crisis a couple days ago. Mads and I decided to put more blonde in my hair, which I have done before but not to this extent. It has always turned out fine and I was always happy with it every other time Mads has done my hair, so this is not her fault at all. But we definitely shouldn't have put the blonde over my whole head, cuz it didn't turn out this time! I have never been this blonde before, it kinda weirds me out. And I have never been one to experiment much with my color. But I hate it right now. Inside the color doesn't look so bad, but in the natural light, it does. Its just not even throughout and it pulled pretty orange. So it really is an orange blonde and well its not cute and in the pic you really can't even tell its bad. The bad thing is that I don't have the money to pay the fortune a salon wants to fix it, so I called my friend Denise who is amazing w hair and she told me what we need to do and that its an easy fix. But Mads is gone for the weekend and she can't get the stuff to do it til Monday. So alas, I was going to spend the whole weekend by myself hiding. But ended up just making the best of it and still doing stuff.
You may be wondering why in the world I would post a pic of it if I hate it so much, but since I've had to make the best of it, its got me thinking and if I should keep it light, obviously fix the color, or if I should just go back darker. Or maybe go darker w highlights? I'm torn...I really just want to like my hair and feel like its cute. SO I need everyone's opinion....which do you think looks the best on me? Do you like my hair darker, more natural, or w a little blonde, or lots of blonde?

Camping

This past weekend I finally got to camping! I love camping and I haven't been able to go in a long time! I went w some friends to Strawberry Reservoir, which is about an hour into Provo Canyon. The weather was great, except there were times we could have done wout the wind. We went 4 wheeling around and saw a bunch of deer and then we cooked some good food and sat around the fire. We spent the next day down by the water fishing. We were a little disappointed to not even get a single bite all day! The fish were not making me happy! We only saw one other person catch one all day too...kinda weird. But I also spent time searching for these little critters....crawdads! I had never seen one before. Apparently they are also referred to as "poor man's crab." You can actually eat their tails and claws. So I went around catching them and then I sat there messing w them and poking them sticks. We even had a trap that we put bacon in, which we only caught one with. The whole trip was just really relaxing and fun to get outside and play around. I did sunburn myself on my neck and shoulders pretty bad....so I have a pretty hot tank top tan line going on! Can't wait for some more camping to come!
