Hot, Hot, Hot!

I've been partially dating/hanging out w a guy named Adam, for several months, that is an EMT. I obviously met him while working at the hospital and I still had never really seen the inside of an ambulance or been close to a fire truck. I decided that I had to take advantage of the opportunity before I moved, so I went to visit him while he was working this past weekend. It was actually pretty cute cause he gave me the whole tour, more than what I had expected. He showed me whats kept where and their different systems, their drug cases, then he showed me around the fire truck. I got to sit in the drivers seat, climb on top, play w an infrared gun thing, and look at the jaws of life! It was pretty cool! It really is amazing what those things can do and what the guys that run them are trained for. And well lets just be honest....its all freakin hot!!! ;) I had a lot of fun checkin it all out and of course I got some good pics. Just so you know, there are 2 different stations he works at and this was the one he only works like once a week. So his uniform for the other one is hotter! Haha. From what I have been able to tell though, he is a very smart EMT, that knows his stuff. Its sweet to see how much he loves it!

Here Fishy, Fishy...

This past summer I learned how to fish. Marc taught me when we were out boating several times. I wanted to go thursday night, so we took off around 11pm and went to one of the lakes here. We got down by the water and we were gettin our poles set up. We had one cast in the water and before Marc could even get the second one ready...we had a bite! I was so excited, cause I just knew we would catch one! :) I was telling Marc how hard he was fightin and he thought I was just being a girl, cause it couldn't be that big. Well as I reeled him in, he was jumpin out of the water trying to get free and Marc was like, what the heck did you catch, that thing is huge. So I got him all the way in and we put a light on him, and Marc saw that it was a rainbow trout. It was so funny cause Marc was like, dude I cant believe how freakin big that thing is, I have never seen a trout that big! We got him all hooked up, we couldn't let him go
was cause of how big he was...we had to show him off! We sat and tried to catch some more, but didnt get any other bites. So we went and got a scale so we could see for sure how big he was. He weighed 5lbs and was 22" long! Dang I'm good at fishing!!! ;)

MoViNg

It looks like we have gotten our apt all lined up for the big move. We are just waiting to be approved. If everything goes through, which it should, we will probably be moving in the beginning of next week. We are moving into Turnberry apts in Holladay. We have heard lots of great things about how social this place is, so we are excited, cause we are all needing our social lives spiced up again! It will be good to have a fun ward and get involved again, since I havent really been involved w church much at all lately. Loni and I are going to be sharing a room, which I swore I would never do again, but we are trying to save money here, since I will be so broke going to school. I feel good about it....both her and Madalyn should be good roommates, Im excited! We have already found out about some old friends that are living there too...(Ben Blake and Mike Dubois from the Glenwood days!) Who would have thought! I still havent found a job yet, I am getting stressed and frustrated w that, but I have gotten to the point where I just have to move. So maybe it will be easier when Im actually up there. Its hard cause my school schedule makes my work schedule not very flexible. I'm just trying to trust that things will all end up working out. My last day of work down here is Thursday, so only 2 more days to go...whoo hoo! Its kinda weird....I dont think it is all real for me yet and probably wont be for the first little bit. I am still having a hard time w moving, but some situations lately have made me a bit more eager for a change. I know it will be good for me...no more sadness! I'll be spending some good time w Marc before leaving and actually Adam as well. Hopefully I will get some good pics to post on here for you all and life should get lots more exciting once I move! Im ready!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!

I just have to give a shout out to my pops cause today is his birthday! He is the big 58...gettin close to that 60 mark! I have to give him a hard time cause I tell him to behave or I'll put him in a nursing home...he is old enough! Haha! I feel so luck to have him as my dad. He is the most amazing man I know! He has so much patience and does so much for my family wout anything in return. I hope that one day he can retire and have his dream of just relaxing...he deserves it! I dont know what I would do wout him! I love you dad! Sorry I cant celebrate w ya!

Mesquite to Salt Lake

Okay so this past weekend was a total blast! Marc and I drove down to Mesquite sat and met his brother, girlfriend and her parents there. We did a bit of gambling before eating and then went over to stand in line for Larry the Cable Guy! It was packed, but I got us a good tickets and we were 3rd row from the front. The guy who opened for him, cant remember his name, but he was actually really funny too. Then all the excitement started and Larry came out on stage! He is seriously so freakin hilarious! We were busting up the entire time he was on stage! We both got to shake his hand...and he winked at me! Dont worry I havent washed my hand yet ;) After the show we just went over to Oasis and hung out on the slots a bit...I have my penny slots that I love, but I have to say that Im very disappointed they have gotten rid of some of them! They dont know the good ones! (Mads sea monkeys is gone and there is only one of the fishing games left! So gay!) Then we went upstairs and did a little booty shakin...it had been a few months since Id been able to shake this booty, so I had a good time! It was a long night cause we didnt get back home til 4am! I recommend seeing one of Larry's shows if you get the chance, you'll bust at the seems!

Loni and I spent Monday and Tuesday up in Salt Lake looking for apts and jobs. Loni was able to get a job interview that went well and we made some headway on finding a place to live. It stressed me out a bit more cause I am just worried about time, cause its getting closer to starting school and I need to get everything lined up. I am however enrolled in school. I met w a guy at my school and I am really excited about starting. Its going to be a lot of work but it will be worth it! We met up w Madalyn and set out looking for the lucky place that will get to have us live there! Yeah...still looking... I did however get introduced to an awesome new Sushi bar down town that was so yummy! Its definately a close comparison to Happy Sumo. We did get excited about living somewhere w lots to do. In some parts of downtown I dont feel like Im in Utah, its great! I'll continue to keep you posted.

Summer Fun!

If I could pick my 2 favorite things about summer...it would have to be warm weather and playing in the water, whether its at the lake on the boat, at the beach, or just chillin at the pool! I love being in a swimsuit! Living in St George has definately allowed for much of the above. I thought I would just share some pics from the summer. I was out at the pool a lot and I got to go boating tons too. I actually learned how to wake board and I absolutely love it! I still need more practice though! The top pic is one of the times I went w Marc and Jason and some other friends.

This is my first time that I got up and stayed up for awhile...I did eventually biff it pretty bad though! Ouch...face plants hurt!


Did you think this was me? Haha...yeah maybe one day...nope I doubt I'd have the guts to try this! I gotta cross the wake first! ;) Marc got a new wake board and they just went crazy on it! These guys went from barely jumping to doing flips! Its so fun to watch them! This is one of the many times Marc tried a flip. Sweet action yo!

This is from one of the many days we got up and went boating at 6am! After being out on the boat for most the day we went back to drop the boat off at our friend Jordi's house and decided that we needed to play in her pool for awhile. It was seriously so fun! She has a rock wall slide that we slid down in tubes and on mattresses. This pic is of Marc and Jason doing back flips off the rock wall. It was so fun to watch them cause they were so scared at first but then once they got it...look how insync they are! I must say that I did an amazing job taking pics of them doing their flips!

These are just some of the things Im going to miss....and why I will be complaining about the cold this winter. I am going to freeze my buns off! So you all need to be finding me a guy to be warming me up! He he!

Weekend w my BFF!

I finally got to see my BFF Jared after 6 long months!!! Jared came on friday and played all weekend w me til I took him to the airport on monday. He didnt get in til late on friday so we just chilled and hit the sack. There is a hike that I have heard about and seen pics of that Ive been wanting to go on, so since Jared is quite the little Mt Man, I figured it was a perfect thing for us to do on sat. Its up just south of Cedar City, by Kanarraville. We set out in the Blue Moon and well we had to take her for a bit of off roading, since the road was pretty rough. She did amazingly well and proved her to be tough! (She can handle more than just dohnuts!)

Take a look at her even going through the creek! Anyways, the hike was awesome! It goes along the creek the whole time and there are 2 different waterfalls that people have put logs to climb up. When we got past the 2nd one Jared had the idea of climbing up one of the sides of the canyon...yeah this is where his Mt Man comes out! So I trust him and we try climbing up but we got to a point where I totally froze cause I was only wearing Crocs and it was a pretty steep cliff and it scared me to death! Jared thought it was pretty funny! We went a different way and were able to get up above a bit and eat our snack. Then we went back. The whole hike was about 2 hrs but was so fun and so beautiful! One of the many things about Southern Utah I will miss a lot! After our hike we went home, got ready and met up w Marc for dinner. Yes...I made the 2 of them hang out and go to dinner w me! It was actually a lot of fun and they got along really well...which I knew they would once they met. I was happy to be w the 2 guys that I care the most about and love spending time with. We went to Texas Road House and man is their food good! Then we just went back to my place and the three of us chilled all night. Unfortunately I had to work part of a shift on Sunday so Jared just hung by himself and then we went to the hottub. Then Monday we went to the pool again, played and layed out. Then I had to take him down to Vegas to catch his flight and I totally stopped at IN n OUT, which is the one fast food burger that I just love! Yum yum! So my fun weekend w Jared came to an end, but I must say that it was so good to see him again and I was reminded why we are such good friends. I love the guy to death! (Like a brother though!) :) It will be nice when Im in SLC cause I'll be able to see him more often. Sorry I dont have many pics from the weekend. I am so mad cause my camera got stolen out of my purse...or at least thats what I only assume happened cause thats where my camera always is and well its just gone now. I am so upset about it cause it was an expensive one and actually the second one I have had stolen! People...leave my cameras alone please! I love taking pics and so now Im way bugged about it. So I tried taking some on my phone but they arent that great so sorry!
