Last Saturday I was able to go to the Draper, UT Temple Open House. My birth mom Sharlene invited me and my roommate Jen to go with her and her family. I haven't ever been to a temple open house before so it was cool to see how they do it. I am always amazed at how beautiful they are inside. It was a great experience to be able to walk through and to be in there with Sharlene and her family. 
Afterwards, we all went to get icecream and just had fun talking and goofing around. I am so glad that I am continually able to get to know Sharlene and her kids. They have been so much fun and I love how comfortable they are with me. Its fun to be an older sister, but at the same time it is giving me something to help keep me in check a bit. I realize more and more with them that I need to be a good example. It's been a long time since I have really felt the responsibility of being a good example like I do with them. I am lucky to have all this new family!
